Question by Boomer: What is the Best Way to Insulate Attic “Pull-Down” Folding Stairs? The pull-down folding stairs to my attic is located in my upstairs hallway ceiling. During the summer, I can feel the heat coming from the attic through the the attic pull-down stair ceiling door. I have added weather stripping on 3 sides of the ceiling stair door, which has helped, but I can’t put weather stripping on the hinge side, where I can feel heat coming through.
