Better R value 2 inch foam or spray foam?

Question by steady: Better R value 2 inch foam or spray foam? I want to insulate my basement walls on the inside I planned on using 2 inch pink styroboard R value of 10 but was wondering what the R value would be if I put on nailers on the concrete block then drywalled then had it sprayed with spray foam which would be a better R value? Also how many feet apart do I need to have studs 2 foot? That is the width of the styroboard. Should I put plastic or anything before the studs or insulation?
