Spray foam attic “compact roof”?

Question by ro9beam2002: Spray foam attic “compact roof”?
In the process of buying a ICF “insulated concrete form structure” we did a walkthrough tonight and i noticed the attic space has spray foam insulation or what is called a “compact roof”, iam unfamliar with this construction teq. what are the plus and minuses of this type of building and insulation for a roof structure. I would imagine the roof decking gets pretty hot and the shingles better be good… what should i ask and or look for? we will be closing in about 2 weeks on the home and just want a bit more info…thanks

the foam doesn’t expand nor contract its superior insulation heat does not penetrate. 65
